Admission procedure of the prisoner Albert TheisExemplary for the admission procedure is the fate of Albert Theis, presented in the exhibition in the shunt room. Albert Theis was imprisoned because he refused to collaborate with the Germans. Two photographs of Albert Theis are to be found on one of the banners on the prisoner side of the room, one showing Theis in his Luxembourgian police uniform, the other the police record shot taken at the Dachau concentration camp. In the display case are the file records the camp administration collected on Albert Theis, readable only from the other side of the divided room, where the officiating SS stood. In this way the exhibition mirrors the division of the room into the two sections. |
