Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day

City of Jacksonville,

Jacksonville Museum of Military History,

and in partnership with

Little Rock Air Force Base

 

In 1973 the Paris Peace Accord was signed ending the Vietnam War.  The Vietnam War was controversial and sadly our Vietnam Veterans never got the “Welcome Home” they deserved.  Join us in Jacksonville, Arkansas on April 6th 2013 for a day of activities to honor, celebrate and…

“Welcome Home our Vietnam Veterans.”

 

Schedule of Events

9:00am - 6:00pm Museum open at no charge to the public

· 8ft x 12ft vinyl map of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia for veterans to sign

· Vietnam exhibits and displays

· Live music

· Veterans Service Organization invited to have a booth (no charge).

2:00 – 3:00pm Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Parade

3:00-4:00pm  Honor & Remembrance Ceremony

  Missing Man Table Ceremony performed by LRAFB Honor Guard

 

4:00 – 6:00pm Dinner on the Grounds

· $10.00 a ticket (pay at the door)

· RSVP Required by March 29th, 2013
